I applied for a senior developer position. The job ad listed the budget for the position as well. But when I got to the HR interview, I was told that I was called for an interview for a different position, which is a lower level, so the budget add did not apply to me. I wish they had taken their time to post another job ad for that role. I felt like my time was wasted afterwards.
