The autonomy has downsides: communication overhead and some controlled chaos. Most of all, it adds significant mental load. As you can solve any problems you deem important, it's easy to take on too much and go underwater. You really need to focus when working here.
D&I is making good progress but has growing pains.
Share your long-term views more. They are inspiring, but we rarely articulate these things; we focus on the problems at hand day-to-day.
