Amazing pace of software development: I was able to release to production on my first workday. The team did huge structural changes in a few months, but no feature branch was open for more than 10 days; typically, it was 1-4 days.
Everybody is treated as an adult and is assumed to have the best intentions. For example:
- There are virtually no restrictions on business travels.
- On the first few sick days, you just notify your team and stay at home, with no paperwork.
Most of the workforce is young and hip; it is easy to feel yourself old.
