I had an online step with the hiring manager, which was totally fine. Then we moved to the second step, which involved technical questions. I did those properly; however, the feedback was awful. They told me I didn't pass because the implementation could not use external libraries for testing using Maven. Seriously, this is pretty standard in the Java world! But even though, the assessment did not state any requirement to avoid external libraries. I felt like they were just looking for any poor excuse to not continue the process. Definitely, I wouldn't recommend this company.
