QA Automation Engineer Interview Experience - Pleasanton, California

February 1, 2016
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

Initial phone screening by hiring manager, followed by a 3-hour onsite interview.

Everyone was very friendly. The recruiter told me after 4 days onsite that everyone liked me very much and offered me the position. All good so far.

The offer was average. I was trying to get a little more than offered, and the recruiter emailed me later that my offer had been revoked. What a shock for me!

On one hand, everyone liked me. On the other hand, they revoked the offer for negotiation.

Be extremely careful during negotiation.
