I applied online through a referral at Workday Poland.
It took two weeks to schedule my interview.
Firstly, I am totally disappointed by the interviewers. In the beginning, I predicted that both interviewers were not in the mood to take my interview. They had no smiles and it was as if they had just woken from sleep to conduct the interview. I am sorry, but this is true.
Here is how it started:
Both interviewers gave their introductions in less than 30-40 seconds, with no proper greetings and no smiles. (I suggest checking the interview recording if you have such a process.) I have never had such an experience in past interviews with other product companies. I am sorry, Workday should work on this.
After that, I believe the hiring manager asked me, "Do you have any questions?" This was asked at the beginning, without asking me anything else, which indicated to me that they were not in the mood to conduct my interview. Based on my experience in interviews, no one has ever asked me this question first. I think they were not good interviewers, based on my experience with other companies' interview processes in Poland.
The hiring manager was not able to answer the questions I had asked about the Workday Product Management Quality process. At least, I was not satisfied.
My interview finished in 40 minutes, and most of the questions were not relevant to an interview. I request you to look through my interview recording.
As a company, Workday is a wonderful place to work, with diversity and values, but this experience was really bad, to be honest.
First question before starting the interview: "Do you have any questions?" Seriously, are they experienced people to take interviews?
