Workday is a horrible company filled with very unprofessional employees. The company's motto is "Employee first." Since a company is made by its employees, I would say the company itself is very unprofessional.
Firstly, the interview process was extensive, with multiple technical rounds and rounds with the PM and VP of Engineering. I did well in the interview, and an offer was extended to me. I had an initial conversation with the recruiter about the offer, and then they said they would discuss further with the hiring managers about the numbers and get back to me.
After this, I had to send two follow-up emails, in gaps of 2-3 days, to the recruiter asking for a response. However, the recruiter was very unprofessional and did not respond back.
Then, one day, the recruiter emailed me very rudely, saying that the hiring manager had hired someone internally for the position. This was very unprofessional behavior from the recruiter and the hiring manager for not being honest and clear with the candidate.
