Software QA Engineer Interview Experience - Pleasanton, California

Process

I was recruited through LinkedIn, even though I knew several people working at Workday. I had a phone screen with the manager, then two weeks later, an onsite interview. I was interviewed by six different people: some team members, the QA manager, and the Director. Everyone was friendly, asked lots of questions, and told me about the position. I was impressed with how nice and easygoing everyone was! They are there to find out if you fit into the culture, which is so important to Workday!

Questions

I was asked about automation: when would I automate or not choose to automate.

I also had the question, "If you were asked to fill a limousine with tennis balls, how would you go about it?"

Another question was: Were you ever part of a project that didn't go so well, and how was that fixed?

Was this helpful?
