Test Engineer Intern Interview Experience - Dublin, Ireland

Process

I simply handed in my CV at the Career Zoo event in 2013.

A few weeks later, I received an email to arrange a phone call.

I had two phone interviews, lasting 30 minutes and 45 minutes.

During these interviews, we discussed at length an assignment I had just completed in college. They wanted to hear that I was either able to perform or able to learn about:

  • Java
  • Testing
  • Linux terminal
  • SQL
  • Object-Oriented programming

Questions

The interviewers were quite easy and did not expect much from me. The hardest questions they asked were the ones you should be prepared for:

  • Tell me about what you know of what we do?
  • Why do you want to work here?
  • What are your weaknesses?
