Pay is still good. Flexible hours and working conditions are great.
The vision is gone, and it's hard to know where the engineering future is. Management seems stretched, and despite a huge PM organization, it's very disorganized. They are prioritizing the quantity of deliveries instead of the quality of deliveries. The values are no longer seen.
Return to the core values. Embrace innovation and integrity. We need to go back to the basics and get them right.
The interview was easy. I thought it would be a tough one, but it wasn't. I wasn't bombarded with DSA and the usual suspects, just straight assessments and discussion around modern topics like Git and general DOM.
