Good pay, supposedly interesting and challenging work.
Workday was unable to adapt their internship program to be remote. I would have gladly taken lower pay or moved my dates to accommodate COVID-19. My internship was canceled because of this. This pretty much ruined my summer, and there are few opportunities for internships this late into the year. I would have been better off never applying.
Try to adapt to remote internships.
I have been to quite a few interviews that would qualify as "weird" and "raising an eyebrow," but this one was definitely in a league of its own. Having a very relevant background, and having read several encouraging reviews on this site and elsewher
The interview process consisted of the following rounds: * Screening round (resume and ML basics) * ML coding round * Software system knowledge round * Data manipulation round (pandas) * ML theory round (discussing theory and ML use-cases)
Here's the interview process: 1. Recruiter phone screen 2. Conversation with Hiring Manager 3. Interactive Coding Interview (Python, Data preprocessing) 4. Final round: virtual on-site interviews * Two 1-hour technical interviews * Product M
