Don't bother. More layoffs are coming. Hard work is not appreciated, definitely don't bother with working on weekends or late nights. Zero new skills will be gained for your next job; you will be unemployed and scrambling for months. Unless you get WD certification (=$$), no one will care that you helped build the software. You will think you're so busy that they cannot be without you, yet they will cut you without management input.
You gave up some great people on your layoff. Too many manager layers still in place are ridiculous.
