Remuneration (base salary, bonus, and restricted stock units). I don't think I could get a better paying job in my city.
They take career development very seriously, and there are lots of opportunities for progression into higher roles.
Performance is very data-driven, not just opinions.
Benefits:
There are lots of discounts available to you.
The other engineers in my office are very talented. My team gets to use a lot of the latest tech, e.g., latest versions of frameworks, Kubernetes deployments, etc.
Everyone is very friendly. They emphasize having fun at work via team lunches, office events, clubs, etc. (my office has a board games club, video games club, Lego club, and a music club that I know of, and all clubs get funding from head office for each registered member).
The office is well-set-up, and common areas are great, with lots of free snacks and drinks.
The code could be better. It's not bad, in fact it's quite good, just not as good as other places I've worked at. You are a cog in a big wheel, so you don't get a chance to do much outside software development. For example, I don't get to work on CI/CD pipelines much.
Agile practice seems very rigid instead of allowing each team to use what they think is best. You are expected to be in the office for 50% of days. You cannot choose to work remotely most of the time unless you were specifically employed as a remote worker.
Be more flexible on the 50% of time in the office policy.

The process started with a Workday recruiter reaching out through LinkedIn about potential opportunities. After I expressed interest and forwarded my CV, the next step was a phone interview with a manager of the group I was being recruited for. The
The process was extremely approachable and smooth. The recruiter was extremely helpful and always available for any questions I had. I had another process approaching the final stages, and the recruiter went above and beyond, speeding up the process
