Workiva is a great place to work! Their culture is very employee-centered. They work towards maintaining team cohesiveness by engaging in fun outside activities to get to know your teammates and create a bond. The people who work there function at a very high level. Workiva is also current with software engineering technologies to get the most value for their customers. Workiva prides itself on managers and teammates consistently (on a weekly, sometimes daily) checking with the intern to verify they are learning as much as they can while there.
The only issue I had was when the discussion turned to politics. I rarely shared my views and just listened.
First, there was a ~30 minute discussion with the team, then a similar one with the manager. Behavioral questions were asked, then a technical assessment in SQL. It was a very relaxed discussion with the manager. Have lots of questions ready for this
Phone call with recruiter, face-to-face with manager, two one-hour Google Hangouts with the dev team and architect. I thought it was a laid-back, easy process where I got to meet the team and talk about my experience as a developer.
Easy process and easy questions, one interview. I did well on the interview (according to the interviewer). Then I got ghosted for two weeks with no response. The recruiter would not respond to emails.
