Applied online, then a recruiter sent me an email with employment questions and scheduled a technical phone interview. The interviewer was really rude and talked down to me throughout the process. He asked me if I had experience with some iOS products, even though my experience was in Android, and when I said no, the response was like, "What??? You never even worked with that???" For the technical interview, he continued to insult me. When I asked if I could quickly look up how to do an exponent operation, he was like, "WOW. You know a number squared is just the number multiplied by itself, right? It's basic fifth-grade math!!" And he repeated, "it's fifth-grade math" several times. How cringe. And to top it off, after I solved the problem, he gave me the wrong feedback. I used recursion, and he said I should have used a whole loop. They are literally the same thing. I knew I wasn't going to move forward, even at the beginning of the interview, by the way this guy was already talking down to me. But wow - Yahoo doesn't exactly have a great reputation for being tech-progressive, but I didn't realize their interviewers had such a chip on their shoulder.
Leetcode Easy - Happy number.
