Pros: Work low, not much. Work low, not much.

Cons: Office too big. Office too big.

Pros: A great place to learn how to do Internet things. It is really great to work on something with the potential to influence hundreds of millions of Internet users. There are many workaholics and really smart people working here. You can find many great technologies here.

Cons: Yahoo is a big company operated like hundreds of small startups. However, it doesn't have the startup efficiency but with a startup workload and big company's politics. The managers I met seem to have tried to manage the team like a startup but without a startup manager's technical skill and also without a traditional manager's people management skill. So many layers of management and the people involved in a project are so many, making it hard to get a project going smoothly. Also, poor documentation makes it hard to know what in a document is in production as well as valid for your situation. And the most important thing for people to work here smoothly and favorably is social connections and politics. So many temporary projects and incomplete projects abound, and there are so many changes for projects.

Pros: Great team in general, amazing support.

Cons: Fewer benefits; other companies have better benefits.
