Process

The interview process consisted of one technical phone screen, followed by an onsite interview with four rounds.

Not everyone on the interview panel was pleasant.

One person seemed indifferent to what was being said (he kept working on his laptop).

The other person was rude and difficult to talk to.

Overall, it was an OK experience.

Questions

  1. Find the longest string in an array of heterogeneous elements. What if the array has sub-arrays?

  2. Basics about XSS attacks, performance, and CORS.

  3. Design a color-picker. Input: red, green, blue values (0-255). Output: color.

  4. Tab design. How would you design it without JavaScript? What changes would you make to the structure?

  5. Anagrams and sorting algorithms.

  6. Given input 'aBsrTdA', output 'ABT'. Return a string (sorted) constructed from uppercase letters.

  7. How do you determine if one array is a rotated version of another array?
