Software Developer Interview Experience - Santa Clara, California

Process

I was first called for a phone interview, which was pretty simple and straightforward, mainly asking questions on data structures and design.

After a week, I was called for an onsite interview with four people.

The first round went well. The interviewer asked me to write a Tic-Tac-Toe game on the whiteboard.

The second round went badly, as the interviewer kept asking me mathematical problems.

The third round went okay with the manager. They asked me a few testing and QA questions, which I suppose I did not answer that well.

The fourth round was useless. The interviewer was just wasting time, reading my resume and watching the clock.

Overall, the interview experience sucked, as they really did not test my skills.
