Process for Yahoo Finance Content Engagement Squad:
A typical recruiter screen is supposedly followed by a chat with the hiring manager about your experience. The recruiter said the hiring manager was interested in speaking with me, but the recruiter never scheduled my interview. After following up numerous times, including with the hiring manager himself, who said the recruiter would schedule the interview with me, the recruiter just ignored my emails and ghosted me. This was a very odd experience, and I would not recommend interviewing with Yahoo. They have no issues with leaving candidates hanging.
I was also surprised by the fact they don't have scheduling software for a supposedly large, established organization (e.g., GoodTime). The process to schedule interviews is very manual: the recruiter asks for your availability, you reply via email, and they schedule it (if they choose to reply to you).
Standard questions about your experience.
