Software Engineer Interview Experience

Process

Worst experience from a company.

I spoke with them at a college fair, where they asked me to interview with them next week. I received a call from them later that day, asking if I would be available for an interview the next day instead, at their local office in Atlanta. The interview went really well, and the recruiter actually said that he would recommend me for an on-site interview.

I received another call later that day from the recruiter (who had met me at the fair), asking whether I would be interested in flying out to Sun Valley for a second round of interviews. I told them yes, and that was the last time I actually talked to Yahoo.

After more than six weeks, they have not gotten back in touch with me, nor have they sent an email or made a call. I also emailed them, but no one responded to my message.

Questions

Standard questions. One of them was verbatim from CareerCup, which actually surprised me.

I took my time, though, to make it seem as if I hadn't heard the question before.

There was also a coding question: reverse a linked list. I coded it on a whiteboard. It was simple, actually.
