Pros: 1. Free food and coffee.
2. Good benefits.
3. Great environment.
4. Marissa made a change on Yahoo culture: "We can do it!" and transparency.
Cons: 1. Bad salaries range from contractors converting to FTEs.
2. No room to grow: Internal transfers aren't clear on role definitions or compensation. Some departments have a mix of roles using the same "Job title" to max salaries, such as Program Managers converting to Product Managers, Engineers converting to Product Managers, or Editors with multiple "undefined roles."

Pros: You get to work with (sometimes) great people, and hours are very flexible. Some great perks, like an on-campus gym. The culture is very relaxed and easygoing.
Cons: Management is just horrendous. A relaxed and easygoing culture breeds complacency and a lack of care for products. People are clueless as to how to improve the business; management themselves have very little idea of this, as demonstrated repeatedly. Negativity externally translates to threefold negativity within the company. The company is just not what it used to be anymore.
