Process
I was contacted by a recruiter and asked to come on-site for an interview. The process took about a week.
The interview consisted of:
- Three 45-minute rounds focused on algorithm questions and analyzing efficiency.
- One 3-hour coding challenge.
Nothing was too difficult. A good understanding of algorithms should help you answer the questions.
Questions
The coding challenge was tricky because you had to submit full working code in 3 hours.
The solution was tested on design, correctness, and algorithm efficiency in that order.

Pros: Great benefits and culture.
Pros for some people: This is one company where you can get rewarded and promoted for failed projects.
Cons: Poor Management - investing in products that have no ROI or revenue gain, and a lack of direction for the teams. Decisions tend to be made more for personal gain than what is best for the company.
Too many academics, and few think out of the box or care about the business of making money. Lots of inventions and ideas but no ROI. It's sad to say this: a billion-dollar company that doesn't know how to develop software. Lots of talk about technology but none on monetizing them.
Lots of failed projects. A failed project is one that does not work better than the previous versions, has no additional ROI, users don't like it, and is not stable.
