Good place, but hard to find growth
People come from legacy AOL or Yahoo, which was merged to form Verizon Media.
Great benefits, excellent co-workers, and a great work culture.
Ok to work if you are not the "I want to work only on industry-disrupting projects" type.
The company is just cruising along as far as it can get, or until Verizon decides to throw in the towel. There are very limited growth opportunities. People are constantly looking over their shoulders, wondering when the next downsizing would happen. Also, the Yahoo side is arrogant and mean; they think they are superior. The AOL side received a demotion in title after the merger.
