Advice to Management

Turning to outsourcing more and more products rather than keeping with custom in-house tooling is not the right direction. It might look cheaper at a surface level, but these in-house tools have been created with Yahoo's needs and security built in, whereas other tools will require a lot more tweaking.

Retaining management over engineers is not the move.
