Cons: They made me wake up at 3 AM to fix an issue, so I couldn't sleep until morning.

Pros: Great office, coffee points, and daily money for lunch. Mostly nice colleagues, with an overall nice culture. Powerful internal tools for development. Great educational opportunities.

Cons: - Poor documentation. - No pros for internal rotations. - Sometimes those powerful internal tools for development just do not work. It's a rare thing but can be really frustrating. - Overall, for Yandex, it's a lottery: you either can get into a team where you have to work hard, or can find a team where you may do almost nothing and be fine. - The company's recruitment process is slow and focused around algorithmic interviews, and it seems that hiring mistakes happen often because of this (sometimes they hire people who are great at algo interviews but know nothing about the tech stack they need to work with, and vice versa).
