The incredible atmosphere in the company allows you to feel comfortable and motivates you to create the best software. Flexible hours.
Super comfortable office, free lunches and snacks, MacBooks, and free parking.
Interesting and sophisticated projects. Very talented and skillful people.
Really competitive salaries and bonuses.
The only cons come from the pros. Sometimes, you are not punished for not meeting deadlines or for being in the office too little. Of course, this highly depends on the project, but some of them are too "carefree" and kind to the employee.
There was also a case of conflicts between management in Moscow and St. Petersburg, which was resolved in favor of the Moscow ones only because they were friends of senior managers there. This was unfair and resulted in the firing of dozens of pretty skillful St. Petersburg managers and tech guys. Though in general, this doesn't prove that there are inner problems in Yandex, it's still incredible and the best IT company in Russia.
P.S. I like the design of the St. Petersburg office even more than Google's ones in Zurich and London :)
