The technical interview was over Skype. The interviewer asked me a coding question on CoderPad. There were very few questions related to core ML algorithms, but the interview was very much focused on whether you can solve coding problems related to Algorithms and Data Structures.

Pros: - Stock price is stable; don't need to worry about joining when the stock price is high.
- Super friendly workplace and culture; no one will blame you if you make a mistake.
- Cross-team collaboration is super amazing; every team is helpful in answering any questions.
- My top one company for a helpful, cooperative culture.
- Bottom-up culture; you will have big room to try any idea but need to convince the PM.
Cons: The salary is low and the stock has not changed over 10 years.

Pros: People are super nice and helpful. WLB is awesome. Moving within Yelp is quite straightforward. The IC to Manager path is very well thought of.
Cons: Pay is lower than the market rate. As a company, Yelp doesn't take aggressive steps to dominate any market.
