The interview process began with a 20-minute HackerRank prescreen.

A week later, I was invited to a 45-minute technical Skype interview with an engineer. It took about a week after I sent my availability to confirm the interview time. The team was very flexible in rescheduling this interview when I realized I was double-booked.

This interview was quite easy and seemed mostly to gauge collaboration style at Yelp.

About a week after that, the recruiter reached out with an onsite offer.

The onsite interview consisted of four sessions:

• Two behavioral interviews
• Two technical interviews (one system design and one algorithms)

The engineers were friendly and acted as good sounding boards.

After the onsite, my recruiter was very respectful of my deadlines and expedited the process, providing a decision just three days after my interview.
