One of the worst companies to work with. No pros about working here, unless you are incompetent and like workplace politics. You can either choose to save yourself by learning from others' mistakes or join Yelp and suffer.
Untrustworthy managers. Anything you speak with anybody at Yelp is broadcasted to everybody else. I would advise with great emphasis: do not speak much. Do not tell your manager anything. They are creating a file against you to fire you whenever they want.
Managers at Yelp have only one job: create files and micromanage. Be very careful of old employees – they are not your friends.
The overall culture is very toxic, and people rarely stick around. The ones who stay are part of this toxic culture. The HR is against you. The "policies" are just a way to fire people. Nobody follows a single workplace policy like respect, no racism, or diversity, etc.
What do you get by ruining lives and careers? What do you get by the mental abuse?

The process began with an initial HackerRank coding assessment, followed by a technical behavioral interview. It then progressed to a final panel consisting of four rounds: * One system design interview * One behavioral interview * Two live co
1. HackerRank coding challenge 2. First interview: 45 minutes, conversational, discussing your tech project. 3. Final: Two technical interviews (coding/system design) and one behavioral interview, all on the same day.
