I went through a few stages during my interview process.
Screening call with company recruiter (employed by Zapier, not a third party). We discussed company culture and if I would be a good fit. It was a very conversational call, and very low stress!
Technical coding challenge that took me 2-3 hours (not remembering exactly how long I got). The coding challenge measures when you begin, and you get a very strict amount of time to complete it. Be ready to code when you sit down!
Interview with a senior engineer plus another highly skilled engineer. The discussion was very open, mostly shooting the breeze on writing code, being a good coworker, working through challenges, "what if"s. The people I talked to were very engaged and made me feel comfortable. We went over my coding challenge and I talked about things I think I did well as well as things I wish I improved on.
Second call with the recruiter from step 1 with the news that they wanted to move forward with an offer. The recruiter wanted me to have a video call with my future manager to talk and make sure we were aligned.
Call with my future manager. It was the least stressful of all the stages as my future manager was super awesome to talk to and get to know.
