Zendesk has some truly excellent people to work with. Team culture is often and was above industry standard. Great office space and flexible working.
Middle to upper management communications to staff has gone downhill badly.
Structural changes are sometimes done without consultation.
Employees no longer have influence on company culture.
It is often easier to leave and return than to get a promotion.
Listen to employees. The company is changing, we all get that, but bring the staff on the journey. This will help their commitment and your results.
1) Spoke with the Recruiter - Perfect 1.1) Email exchange with another recruiter - pretty smooth 2) Had an interview with the Director of Engineering - Also was great. 3) Interview with the team - had a good time speaking with them. But at the end -
Lots of interviews, very nice panel overall. Very nice to talk to, and they explain what they expect in the role, etc. Total of 6 interviews, including the intro. Interviews can range from 45 minutes to 1 hour or 1.5 hours. Overall, a good experien
Friendly, efficient, professional. Started with a 30-minute screen, then a technical screen. Followed up with an on-site interview with four more people. The last step was a short one-to-one on a different date.
