The worst interview experience I had in my life! A recruiter call was followed by a tech screen. The tech screen engineer was extremely rude and, when I asked clarifying questions, would repeatedly tell me to re-read the question prompt carefully, although the prompt didn't provide all the details. After coding a solution that passed the test cases, he wasn't happy with it and didn't clarify. When I asked him to provide other examples where my code wouldn't work, he acted entitled and offended.

Despite his vague instructions, I was able to improve my solution and answer his follow-up questions. Two days later, I received a rejection for no mentioned reasons. A terrible waste of time with a disrespectful interviewer.

I do not recommend interviewing with Zillow.
