I was contacted by one of their recruiters. The process had many steps.
The first step involved a code-sharing phone screen interview with one of their managers, but I was informed that the position had been filled. A week later, they contacted me again, stating they had a few more job openings and would still like to interview me.
The second step was a take-home test, featuring the same two questions they ask everyone. I sent it the next day, but the recruiter could not figure out how to unzip the file. A week later, she asked me to send it as two different files. A week after that, they informed me I had passed and requested a second phone screen (also code-sharing). It was very straightforward, and a few days later, they asked me to interview on-site. They requested I fly there for a final round of interviews.
I was quite disappointed by the on-site experience. My schedule was changed four times, and I was asked to change rooms during the process. Interviewers would leave me alone to wait for the next person. Nobody bothered to show me around the office or indicate where the restrooms were. I was provided a sandwich for lunch and told to eat it alone in a room without a window. After one interview, I could see and hear my two interviewers discuss my performance in plain sight, about twenty feet away from me.
I had three technical interviews.
It was clearly not a good experience, and I had no desire to work with the first manager I spoke to. It has been weeks, and I have not yet received reimbursement for my expenses.
