An internal recruiter contacted me.

I did not apply, nor did I have any intention of applying to Zillow.

I scheduled a brief chat with the recruiter, followed by a phone interview with the hiring manager and a team member.

There were no whiteboard questions or live coding, just discussions about my previous experience.

Both conversations went well. I was informed I would hear something within a week.

It has now been a month. I emailed asking for an update, but never received a reply.

This behavior is extremely unprofessional.

The worst part is, I didn't even apply myself; they reached out to me, and I was still treated this way.
