Data Engineer Interview Experience - San Jose, California
Process
I applied for the Data Engineer position at Zoom Video Communications through a LinkedIn Jobs posting.
I was ecstatic when I got the call from Zoom's HR Team. The HR Team is excellent and affectionate. An HR member discussed the job profile with me, explained the interview process, and scheduled my interview.
I joined the interview call at the scheduled time. The interviewer was very kind, considerate, knowledgeable, and unbiased, and made the interview environment amiable.
They shared three interview questions. The questions were standard and straightforward.
The questions were not difficult, but they required basic study of SQL and any programming language like Python, Scala, or Java.
However, I couldn't solve a single question because I was not prepared. We need at least two months of preparation, dedication, and hard work to solve such questions.
I would love to attend the interview again within two to three months once I feel that I am prepared.
