I was reached out to by the HR team at Zoom on LinkedIn regarding an open position for a DevOps Engineer.
The interview process had five rounds:
- Three technical rounds
- One technical + managerial round
- Followed by an HR discussion.
The interview process was seamless. During the pandemic, everything was organized virtually and, ironically, on Zoom.
The interviewers were very nice and asked about DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Kubernetes, Shell, Docker, and other DevOps-related technologies.
The HR round was also clear and concise, and I received the offer within two weeks.

- Kubernetes cluster
- Git best practices
- Jenkins best practices
- Ansible automation
One virtual lab where they ask you to troubleshoot live.
