I pulled myself out after the second step.
Recruiter screen -- started out fairly normal, but then started getting quizzed on random technical questions. I was caught off guard, but it just seemed odd to be asked those kinds of things for a senior-level role (8+ years).
Technical Test - this is where I just gave up. The job position I was posting for was for a senior role in Microservice development with Spring and NoSQL databases. My test had me writing MySQL stored procedures and then random Java LeetCode-style questions.
To me, it didn't line up with a senior-level role or really the job description at all. I realize they're trying to filter people out, but the random, almost trivia-like questions along with questions that are not at all related to the job description were a turn-off for me.
Typical recruiter questions:
Technical test: Medium LeetCode questions and a SQL stored procedure.
