Site Reliability Engineer Interview Experience - Bengaluru, Karnataka

May 1, 2024
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

The whole process took four weeks, only to be told that the position was abruptly put on hold.

It was a tad disappointing to hear this after going through four rounds, including HR screening.

I feel this is disrespectful to the time, effort, and energy a candidate invests in the interview process.

The interviews are scheduled by an AI tool, and we literally don't have a human HR point of contact to get in touch with for status updates, which makes the overall experience not great.

Questions

I was quizzed around the following topics:

  • Cloud
  • Microservices
  • SRE principles
  • System Design

Two coding questions were presented:

  • One LeetCode Medium difficulty problem.
  • A Terraform scenario.
