Pros
  1. Benefit of $300 every month. You can claim vegetables, groceries, food bills, internet bills, electricity bills, gas bills, and many more.

  2. Permanent WFH, and you will get a good work-life balance.

  3. You will get company stocks.

So my honest review is: The company is good to join if you are looking for a peaceful life, a good working environment, and company benefits. For good career growth and learning, this is not a good place.

Cons
  1. Not a good place for technical growth.

  2. Still running with data center servers. No latest technologies (no cloud, k8s, pipeline, or Terraform).

  3. Processes are like old-school syllabus. They do not even have any CI/CD pipeline yet. Forget about latest technology.

  4. Few development works exist, but those are handled by the US team and China team. The India team is only doing production support here.

  5. You will only get deployment and production issues to watch.

  6. Health insurance is not so good. It's a total of 5 Lacs for your entire family, including the employee. If you wish to top up, they charge you highly. So, it's better to get it from outside. It will be cheaper for you.

Advice to Management

Here I have only two suggestions for India management:

  1. Please bring some work to the India team.
  2. There are not any proper HR policies for Indian employees here, nor is there anyone in HR or elsewhere to clarify your finance or investment queries.
  3. Health insurance is not so good; it's a total of 5 Lacs for your entire family, including the employee. If you wish to top up, they charge you highly.
