I applied online and received a call from a recruiter within two days. He was pleasant to talk to, but never thought to schedule a time via email before calling. This happened on multiple occasions; once, I was in a product demo meeting.
He scheduled a 45-minute technical screening interview with a manager and an architect. They discussed their roles and mission for 15 minutes, which was good. The next 30 minutes were spent on a programming question for which I had an O(n) time complexity solution ready in five minutes. The manager did not ask me to optimize it and even provided a hint about the solution he expected. When I mentioned that his solution also solved the question in O(n), he probably didn't like it.
I never heard back from the recruiter, even after investing two hours of my time.
Bottom line: If the solution isn't what they expect, it's not considered correct.
