Pros

There is a tremendous amount of trust placed in the engineering team. You have complete autonomy to drive technical initiatives and make foundational decisions.

The engineering organization is highly collaborative. There are very few silos, making it easy to work across teams and share knowledge effectively.

Executive leadership is communicative and transparent regarding the strategic direction of the company, even when navigating challenging market conditions.

Cons

While the base compensation and structure are fair, the broader market is currently undervaluing the company. As a result, the stock bonuses and equity portions of the total compensation package keep taking a hit, but the leadership is taking concrete steps to address this.

Advice to Management

Keep up the transparent communication and clear strategic planning during this market dip. The openness is highly valued by the engineering floor.
