Pros

Compensation can be quite high despite being a lower tier tech company. However, if you are paid too high, this puts a target on your back whenever layoffs happen.

Cons

Constant attrition due to senior management constantly letting go of high-valued and high-performing employees.

In my time, I saw a series of managers, execs, and principal engineers constantly being let go. Many were high performers or had been at the company 10+ years, but management at ZoomInfo is short-sighted and only aims to maximize each quarter's profit rather than long-term investment.

Company is outsourcing high-paying tech jobs to lower-cost countries (e.g., Israel).

Culture is quite toxic and aggressive. There are many for-profit companies that make tons of money but still manage to have a great culture. ZoomInfo is not one of these.

Advice to Management

Hire for the long term and be willing to take on riskier long-term projects that may take several years for ROI.
