N.A. - Look Elsewhere, not even a good stepping stone.

Cons

Very top-down heavy with management. Bloated from VPs to Directors to Managers, which leads to a lack of alignment that is noticeable even to customers and reflected in the stock price.

There is no unified direction to work toward and a lack of product voice on all fronts. Politics and favoritism are heavily practiced. When teams are not performing due to a lack of guidance and product direction, certain engineers are promoted and turned into one-man teams to get the actual work done.

Yearly reorganizations will leave you back at square one with any small progress you made during the year, if they don’t result in quiet firing. Do not expect much from your manager or career growth—reviews are only used to build a file to determine whether you will be shuffled or turned into a one-man team. Certainly, do not expect promotions in title, salary, or bonus.

2025 is going to continue to be hard for ZoomInfo. The stock is already at all-time lows, and they are behind in the market on product and internally behind in building an engineering team with the talent to compete.

Advice to Management

Trim the fat. If you continue to refuse to hire product managers, hire engineering managers that have an eye toward product and experience in product.
