The overall interview process was long. It took them ~3 months from start to finish. The rounds were as follows:
It seemed pretty confusing for them to schedule an interview with the VP, who did nothing but explain the company, only to call back a week later saying they were seeking someone with more experience for the role at the end of 3 months, even though the whole interview feedback was positive.
A time duration of 3 months from start to finish, even after saying the feedback was positive and at a time like this during the pandemic when people are struggling to find jobs, is borderline insulting to the candidate. I would really appreciate more thought on that front. Playing with people who are desperate for jobs at a time like this, although may be legally okay, just doesn't morally sit right.
With all that being said, interviewers were friendly and nice people with whom I really enjoyed my talks. Hoped for a different outcome, but such is life. :)
Questions were all rather straightforward, with technical challenges every now and then, but nothing too out of context from the position.
