I applied through their portal with a cold application, after which a recruiter reached out and asked me to complete an online assessment. Once I completed the assessment, the process was as follows:

Initial Phone Screen: I had a 30-minute conversation with a recruiter, where we discussed my background, experience, and motivation for applying to Zoox.

Technical Interviews:

• 1st Round: Trivia and Programming. This round focused on basic questions around core computer science concepts and the programming language of my choice (Python).
• 2nd Round: Backend System Design. This round was centered on backend system design, where I had to design scalable and reliable backend systems.
• Final Round: Behavioral questions.
