They said they would have four technical rounds, and then they would add up the performance of all the rounds to let us know if we were selected for the next managerial round. So, I was done with the four rounds. Then they scheduled a managerial round, but they cancelled it the next day, saying the panel was not available.

The next day, an HR called and said that based on the performance of the four technical rounds, they had decided not to proceed.

They must have found a candidate who was better, but they should have informed me of that. They even scheduled the managerial round and then cancelled it.

I don't know why they need four rounds to decide if a candidate is good or not. Apart from the system design round, all other rounds were pretty similar.

The interview was for Java Microservices.

It included:

• One round on System Design and current project description.
• Three other rounds focused on Core Java, Spring Boot, transaction handling, and coding.
