It wasn't a good experience.

Due to COVID, the interview was moved online. The interviewer wasn't punctual and joined the meeting half an hour late.

After that, I was asked to share my screen and write code on Wordpad while the person watched with their camera off. That was all. There was no resume walkthrough, no questions related to my work experience, despite my having over 5 years of professional experience.

If you want to test coding ability, there are many online platforms that provide proctored tests for evaluation. Many companies use these as their first step.

Asking to write code on Wordpad while being watched was unusual. Furthermore, the interviewer wasn't convinced with my approach as he was expecting a different algorithm.

Overall, it was not a good experience for me. It has been over 3 months, and I haven't heard from them since.
