Zscaler is fast-paced with a lot going on all the time. I can only speak for the ZWS division based in the Burlington, MA, office.
People are super smart, yet they are generous with their time and willing to help out. The product is compelling and solves real-world problems. The code is complex, which for me has been an invitation to learn many new things.
The company is growing fast, so everyone is expected to step up and contribute. There are more projects available than manpower to accomplish; there is little danger of running out of things to do.
Management is focused on customers but realistic about what can be done. Good work/life balance.
