Work-life balance is really hard in IT teams.
Pay is good but could have been better. Management takes care of this, so it's not really an issue.
Lack of communication about project go-live and changes. Sudden surprises with respect to work affect life balance.
Attracting amazing talents with experience is missing. The company insists more on hiring freshers and training them, which will definitely work only if we have enough people to take care of existing tasks/projects. If we don't have enough people with sufficient bandwidth, then training freshers is an additional burden for small teams.
Please take care of work-life balance in all teams, irrespective of engineering vs. non-engineering teams. Also, please provide an option for cross-skill learning and team changes for interested candidates.
If the above points are taken care of, then no doubt Zscaler will be an amazing place to work, and all employees would like to stick longer than expected. Even I'd love to come back to Zscaler if the above two pointers are taken care of.
