Job Description
Join 222place, an early-stage startup building the future of social and backed by prominent investors. As an early full-time engineering hire, you will spearhead all front-end, iOS engineering, mobile development, UI/UX, and product design. The role involves building product-led growth features and referral systems in a consumer application. You'll use Figma to design consumer-facing social products and be mindful of the ethics surrounding user psychology. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely initially, with the expectation of being in-person in NYC eventually. You will have significant impact on the product and its design, while also enjoying equity in the company and visa sponsorship if needed. It's a great opportunity to shape the future of social interaction and work on an iOS application currently on the App Store.
Responsibilities
- Join 222 as an early full-time engineering hire
- Spearhead all things front-end, iOS engineering, mobile development, UI/UX & product design
Requirements
- Passionate about solving the problem 222 is tackling
- Built product-led growth features / referral systems in a consumer application
- Experienced iOS engineer with a history designing beautiful consumer applications
- Demonstrated history of building outside of work/school (projects/products, applications, music, art, etc.)
- Excited about wearing different hats across brand & product design, UX research & front-end engineering
- Experience working with Figma to build & design consumer-facing social products
- Strong stance on the ethics surrounding user psychology in social products
- Experience writing/shipping front-end web & iOS code in an Agile Software Lifecycle ( HTML/CSS/Javascript, React, Swift)
- Previously launched / worked on an iOS application currently on App Store
- iOS engineer first and a product designer second
